Life After Birth
-
Do you believe in life after birth?
-
Yes, of course. It’s clear to everyone that life after birth exists. We are here to become strong and prepared for what awaits us.
-
That’s nonsense! There can’t be any life after birth! Can you imagine what such a life would look like?
-
I don’t know all the details, but I believe there will be more light, and maybe we will walk and eat with our own mouths.
-
What nonsense! It’s impossible to walk or eat by ourselves! It’s ridiculous! We have an umbilical cord that nourishes us. You see, I want to tell you: it’s impossible for there to be life after birth because our life – the umbilical cord – is already too short.
-
I’m sure it’s possible. Everything will be just a bit different. It’s imaginable.
-
But no one has ever returned from there! Life simply ends with birth. And anyway, life is just one big suffering in the dark.
-
No, no! I don’t know exactly what our life will look like after birth, but in any case, we will see our mother, and she will take care of us.
-
Mother? Do you believe in a mother? And where is she?
-
She is all around us; we reside in her, and thanks to her, we move and live. Without her, we simply cannot exist.
-
Nonsense! I haven’t seen any mother, so obviously, she doesn’t exist.
-
I can’t agree with you. Sometimes when everything around us is quiet, you can hear her singing, and feel her caressing our world. I firmly believe that our true life will begin only after birth.
Interpretation of the parable
The two infants – that’s you and me. How often we fail to notice that everything around us is created by a loving God! This planet, the beautiful sky, the ocean and its inhabitants! Fresh water, which we drink, and the air we breathe! We have everything we need for life on this Earth!
And most importantly, the loving God has prepared something even better, more beautiful for us – He has prepared a new, better world where there will be no tears, no illnesses, no loss of loved ones, and nothing unclean or vile can enter! God Himself will dwell with us, and we will be able to see Him.
No one will be able to harm us because our God is love! To enter this beautiful land, God doesn’t require money or anyone’s sacrifices. He sets only one condition for us – just believe!
“Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.”
The Lord bless you all!
